Hola, I’m Amie!

I have had the calling of “Homebirth Midwife” on my life since 1994 after being guided through the birth of my first & second child with a homebirth midwife, God called me to this work and I have faithfully served in obstetrics since 1997, and midwifery specifically since 2002. It is my privilege to serve families in the Central, IL area and beyond. Trust is at the center of my practice, and my clients are like family to me. There is nothing more deeply moving to me than making a difference in the life of each woman and family I serve. I want you to have the right midwife for you, so that you can have your birth, your way.

My Services

I provide holistic prenatal care with prenatal visits primarily done in my Bloomington, IL office with a visit at 36 weeks to your home. I also provide assistance developing a written birth preference plan and clarifying your hopes for birth.
I provide labor & birth care in the comfort and security of your home with the option of water birth.
I provide immediate postpartum care after birth as well as a 24 hour visit after birth. Newborn Care & guidance. Breastfeeding assistance & support.
